One Trick to stop Mild Separation Anxiety

20% of dogs suffer from separation anxiety 

Definition of mild separation anxiety – anxious behaviors such as pacing and crying/whimpering which typically happens when you are getting ready to leave, not after you leave 

Why is it important to treat? – stress psychologically can become physically injuring to the dog 

Trick: Give them something to focus on as you leave such as a stuffed kong (frozen) or a greenie
