Poison Prevention Awareness Month

Hey Dog Lovers,

It is important to know what is poisonous and what is not a dog. They digest things a lot differently than us humans do. In all seriousness, it depends on the amount of the poison for it to be considered deadly to a dog. For example dark chocolate, if your dog accidentally eats a hershey kiss than they are not going to die or need their stomach pumped, now if they eat a bag of them, that definitely requires medical attention. Either way monitor your dog if they eat something poisonous.

Did your pet just eat something poisonous? Call your veterinarian or Pet Poison Helpline immediately. The sooner a pet poisoning is diagnosed, the easier, less expensive, and safer it is to treat Pet Position Helpline (855-764-7661) (https://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/)
