The Pet Product industry is rapidly growing new products and treats every day. Even after doing days of research on a product your dog ends up playing with it once. As a dog trainer who works with many different types of breeds and temperaments, I have bought and tested my fair share of dog products using them on my dog clients as well as my own dog, Aussie. To help you find the best dog products for your dog and lifestyle I have compromised my top 5 dog products for everyday life. Each of these products I personally use almost every day.
Stasher Silicone Reusable Storage Bags
These bags are great for keeping your treats fresh and your treat pouch or pocket clean. Made of a great silicone material that makes them flexible to fit in most treat pouches as well as easy to clean. I use these in all my pouches.
Starmark Bob-a-lot Interactive toy
This is a treat-dispensing toy that makes your dog work for treats or their kibble. It is a great enrichment toy for dogs of any age. When the toy is empty pick it up to avoid it being destroyed. The top screws off and you can move a covering to drop yummy treats or kibble inside then you can open the slot at the bottom and place it on the floor. Then your dog will use these noses or paws to wobble to the toy to get treats to fall out. Moreover, this is recommended for any age or breed. This is a personal favorite of Aussie and Mine.
West Paw Toppl
Another favorite of ours is the Toppl from Westlaw. This toy is the ultimate treat stuffer. Used frozen or at room temperature for different engagement activities. When frozen it is recommended to use with a sniffington plug. You fill the empty part with treats, bones, and yogurt (non or low-fat plain), and or peanut butter (watch out for Xylitol) and freeze. Once frozen you take out the plug and give it to your dog to enjoy. The other way to use it is to get the small and large toppl and interlock them, add small treats or kibble to it and give to your dog to get the treats out through pushing it or breaking it apart. Made of quality heavy-duty material so it is great for all ages and temperments.
Annabelles Cookies
Homemade treats made by a small business on Etsy. I have been using her treats for 3 years now and cannot stop buying them. They are homemade so they do expire after a while so make sure to read the package when they arrive and store them correctly. They come in small cubes which are great for training or enrichment toys as well as bone-shaped treats great for walks or larger training rewards. Her flavors are Honey Cinnamon, Bark-B-Que, Cheese Chicken, Oatmeal Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Carob, and Cheesy Bacon. Baked so they have a harder texture. The shop also has other great dog products as well such as Snuffle Balls, Linen spray, and moisturizing items as well. Use code: COOKIE10 for 10% off your next order.
Fruitables Skinny Mini Treats
Made from natural ingredients and softer. These treats are great for dogs who may be allergic to or dislike meat. They come in a variety of flavors and encourage your dog to explore their smell and taste buds through these yummy fresh treats. My top 2 favorite flavors are pumpkin berry and Pumpkin Apple. I have very few clients whose dogs dislike these treats. Affordable, delicious, and of course healthy coming in at 5 calories a treat.
These are my Top 5 Dog Products for Everyday Life and my personal opinions and reviews on the above-mentioned products and with each and every dog I train I make sure to customize my toy, treat, and training plan to them. If you have any questions about any of the above-mentioned products please contact me today. I hope you enjoy these products as I do.
