Training Moving Attention
Have your dog on leash and have treats ready in your pocket or pouch.
- Say “your dog’s name, with me” and tap your thigh two times and begin walking in any direction (DO NOT Tug/Pull your dog) let the light leash tension be the guide for your dog.
- As soon as they turn towards you (Leash gets loose)
**We are not looking back to see or ask*
- Mark with “Yes” and feed at the knee.
- Repeat and be a toy soldier when you walk, make quick, sharp turns in all directions
**Again a runners leash is best so you don’t get into the habit of miscommunication or over communicating with your dog.
