Testimonials

Chelsea is warm and encouraging, prompt and professional. She is clearly in the right profession as our otherwise difficult rescue took to her right away. She gave us many helpful tips and ideas, which we have used ever since first getting Wyatt. Come to think of it, we might need a refresher course soon! We would highly recommend Chelsea for your training needs.-Kathleen Anstis

Chelsea has trained Daisy Mae through puppy basics, manners, and leash reactivity and we can’t say enough good things about her! She uses reward-based training that guides your dog to learn the behaviors you want from them and gives you the tools to take home and practice with. She is fun, caring and takes the time to learn what each dog needs individually, and wants to see all dogs be their best self. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for the basics, a refresher or has specific concerns that need to be addressed because she is versed in them all. – Amy Bodnar

Charlie loves working with Chelsea and we do too! The minute Chelsea walked in the door Charlie would sit right next to her. He quickly learned basic commands like Sit, Down, Wait & Come. All commands that we implement on a daily basis. Chelsea has great patience, especially with us humans, who sometimes need more direction than our furry friends. We love Chelsea and plan on working with her again for some of the more advanced skills.” – Lisa Chirillo

Chelsea is an amazing trainer! We were experiencing certain behavioral issues with our newly adopted rescues. Some of our issues included: leash reaction, barking,  jumping, and guarding issues. Chelsea was able to provide us with a variety of tips and techniques that we’re able to correct and subside those behaviors substantially. She is very knowledgeable and understands dog behaviors very well. I would highly recommend her for your dog training needs- Milagros Ramos

Scrappy used to get extremely over-excited when he saw another dog and we couldn’t control him at all. He has a loud bark and it was frightening for other people (and very embarrassing for us.) Walks were not enjoyable at all. Scrappy was always on his best behavior in obedience class, so Chelsea met us for a walk to see Scrappy in action. She taught us how to divert his attention and reward him after he passed the distraction. We kept practicing and it really paid off — walks are fun again and now people actually compliment us on what a well-behaved dog we have. We also did an agility class with Chelsea which was a lot of fun for us and Scrappy- Melissa Meek

“My husband and I were expecting our first baby and wanted training done for our energetic and anxious dog, Riley before he arrived. Chelsea was so great to do in-home training and teach us different ways to limit Riley’s jumping and help calm her by teaching her to go to her bed on command. We are happy to say our son Sawyer and Riley are getting along to this day! Thank you Chelsea!” – Stephanie Follette

Miss Daisy is doing good, she still pulls a little but doing so much better.  I was very happy that you did some training with Miss Daisy because you have a great understanding of dogs and what they need.  I still use your training skills with her and I also bought a long leash and have been practicing her come from a distance.  You also have positive energy and dogs feel that.  Thank you for all your help with Miss Daisy,- Laura Marino

We began working with Chelsea when our puppy (Jenni) first came to us. She helped us not only with normal training, but with social interaction, and also getting our old dog (Waylon) and Jenni to interact and become best friends. Chelsea is always accessible and available to come for refresher courses. Within 3 weeks she had Jenni doing agility, and all of the commands down pat! We’ve even recommended Chelsea to our friends with new dogs! – Patrick and Cait Stroh

Chelsea has helped us so much with our dog pepper who is a hyper cattle dog! We started puppy training classes with Chelsea to help with impulse control, leash walking, and learning simple commands. She also introduced us to doggy daycare at wag which has helped him so much socially. She introduced agility training with Pepper which helped burn energy and practice following commands. Our dog is obsessed with Chelsea and is always pulling us in to play with her. She will always carve out time to go visit with him if she is around while he is in daycare. Chelsea is so knowledgeable and has helped us so much! _ Jacquiline and Kyle Birstall

I first hired Chelsea about two years ago to help me train my puppy, Cali. She was a nightmare on the leash. Chelsea was able to find a way to train Cali that worked for her and it became a pleasure to go for walks after. I worked with Chelsea again to train my other puppies, Bentley and Raylene. Bentley is so hyper and after working with her he has calmed down so much. Raylene is on the shyer side but she took to Chelsea right away.-Shealneen Worby

We brought our dog, Jax, to Chelsea because he was absolutely terrified to get out of the car at doggie daycare due to a bad experience somewhere else. Within weeks, Chelsea not only reinforced basic commands but also had him enjoying being with other dogs. When he goes to daycare now, he runs into the building with his tail wagging. -Tori

I met Chelsea when Seth was 6 months old she helped me with socializing with him and helping me walk him on a leash because he was leash reactive. She was very helpful, reliable, and always there with any questions or concerns we had. Seth and I love her- Donna
